ISS Library final community reading program was held at Carnegie Suva Library. Thanks to the kind donation of Mr Michael Masonis, we distributed more than 60 books to children. We read the book "Macca's Christmas Crackers" by Mat Cosgrove with various activity stations in relation to the story & children made their take home Christmas tree out of recycled scholastic catalogs. Children also enjoyed using the xo computer app Stickman animation doing an activity of their choice. "Today a READER, tomorrow a LEADER."

Year 5 chose exhibition topics and research questions that reflects students concern for sustaining our environment with good practices that supports the UNESCO Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It is an opportunity for students to research and problem solve in a collaborative group, drawing upon and extending their skills, knowledge, strengths, passions and interests in order to make a positive difference to others. The Exhibition journey is an opportunity for students to demonstrate the application of the IB Mission Statement "… to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world..." #teachSDGs
Ms Rosi, Ms Dan & Ms Salu visited the Chinese cultural centre and met with the Director Mr Deng discussing ways that we can share resources and cultural displays in the future. We are excited that the upcoming visiting Mongolia team that is visiting Fiji in November will display their art in the ISS Library and the acrobatic team will perform in the MPH hall to our students & staffs.
