Day 2 of celebrating our culture and international mindedness through a cultural food festival while the Middle and High School students organised a "kari niu" scrapping coconut competition. Scrapping coconut is a daily chore in a i taukei household. This week, we celebrate Harmony week & Library Information Week across Oceania. To celebrate books, libraries and reading, ISS Library signed up for the ALIA National Simultaneous storytime where one million children will read simultaneously on 22 May, 2019 at 11 am by sharing Alpacas with Maracas written and illustrated by Matt Cosgrove. We held part of our reading a day before with ECH2W and had so much fun dancing to the alpacas music and creating our alpaca mask. By facilitating NSS we aim to:
