This month, ISS Library collaborated with Library Services of Fiji and other libraries in Suva to set up a school library booth at Sukuna Park along with other library stake holders from 3rd - 8th of September to celebrate reading and libraries with the theme "Libraries lead: building bridges, making a difference in the community." The Library week celebration opened with a launch at the Fiji Museum. Our booth offered free books, rose making, reading and literacy related activities to the general public from 8.00 am - 4.30 pm daily. On Tuesday, 4th of September, the Primary tinker club members went down to Sukuna park to read and share LEGOs related activities with local children. The students took part in a story telling session and mingled with local students at the park.
