Last time here in the library we read a book called "The Great Migration". I learnt that when the people migrated to the North of America (from the South) they left all their crops to ruin. The part I liked the best was the paintings. They helped me understand the story clearly. The story reminds me of many movies of people that move to new countries/ houses and turn out to have a better life. What I didn't like was the part in the story when they said people on the street were arrested for no reason.

I leant that there was a great migration from the North to the south. I like the part when everyone is allowed to get better education. I didn't like the part were it say's children have been laboured on the fields. This reminds me of another story that someone read to me about the same subject

I learned that world war 1 affected lots of countries, It made lots of people migrate because most of the men became soldiers. The part I liked the best was at the end when everyone was happy. This reminds me of friends and family migrate for job opportunities. I didn't like the discrimination in the book.
